Computer Literacy and knowledge of Excel is a sure tool for improvement in productivity, efficiency
and data base showcase for any enterprise – said Ms. Charu Smita Malhotra Gen. Secretary,
Faridabad Management Association speaking to a target audience as a part of Capacity Building of
DLF Industries Cluster members under STRIVE Project of Govt of Haryana on 26 th Oct 2023 at TAP- DC Conference Hall. During the Training attended by 30 plus representatives of IC member companies, Ms. Charu Samita Malhotra made elaborate and exhaustive presentation on Computer Literacy. She explained the features of Microsoft Advance Excel to the participants with practical demonstration of various IT Tools which need to be learnt by the officers of HR, Sales, Marketing or Production department to sort out, align, extrapolate the data and key features to make impacting and useful data presentation through different type of charts as a management tools for effective decision making by Top Management.

Welcoming the Trainer Mr. JP Malhotra President DLF Industries Association joined by Sh. Bhupinder Singh Gen. Secretary explained the importance of STRIVE and NAPS and urged
all the member companies to register themselves at the NAPS Portal for smooth absorption of
Apprentices in their enterprises. Minimum 2.5% and upto 10% of the strength of the Company is the number of apprentices to be taken. We have four trades Tailor, Computer Operator. CNC and Quality Control Assistant for which mobilisation of candidates is being done by the AIC cell of DLFIA. It is binding upon all companies.
The Microsoft Advance Excel training was found to be very interactive and informative. During the
feedback given by Ms. Bhawana, Ms. Reena, Ms. Kashish and Mr. Mohd Arif all were having very
positive gains and appreciated the content of training imparted by Ms. Charu Smita Malhotra they
had never learnt before. Reading Material running into 20 pages were given to all the participants so that they can refer and record at their workplace. DLF Industries Association is committed to implement STRIVE project as per IAI Plan approved by Deptt of Skill Development Govt of Haryana under the guidance of Addl. Director Sh. Sanjiv Sharma so that industry accrues benefits of NAPS to get boys and girls, train them as per choices and suitably employee them in the companies.
