STRIVE @ Govt of Haryana # DLFIAApprenticeship under NAPS in Industry – Required 100 Male, 40 Female Candidates

DLF Industries Association Faridabad as a part of STRIVE PROJECT- Communication and Outreach
initiative participated in the Indus-Tech Technology Expo-2024 held at Faridabad for 05 th Jan 2024 to 08 th Jan 2024 organised by M/s Dronacharya Events. DLF Industries Association STRIVE Stall was visited by the Chief Guest Sh. Faggan Singh Kulaste Cabinet Minister Govt of India, Guest of Honour Sh. Rajesh Nagar MLA Tigaon besides members of media and visitors on 05 Jan 24, the opening day. On 6 th Jan 2024, DLF Industries Association organised a 2-hour Seminar at Indus- Tech Seminar Hall as a part of STRIVE- Communication and Outreach initiative. Mr. JP Malhotra welcomed the Chef Guest Sh. Amit Mann, IAS SDM Badkhal who was deputed by DC Sh. Vikram Singh, IAS by presenting him a Stroll.

Mr. JP Malhotra President DLFIA gave a detailed presentation on STRIVE Project of Govt of Haryana. We have been advised by the Skill Development Deptt. by Addl. Director Sh. Sanjiv harma to propagate and advocate NAPS Scheme to absorb Apprentices in 4 Trades of Computer Operator, CNC Operator, Quality Assurance and Tailor. Already 38 companies have consented to absorb fresh candidates, 10+2 pass out or ITI. Under the Strive Project, we aim to absorb 140 candidates in the coming 5/6 months who will be paid stipend of Rs.8500/- from day One. This is a unique opportunity for young boys and girls to get Job ready in the industry itself. Mr. JP Malhotra informed that we have already informed Ministry of Skill Development that this monthly stipend needs to be increased to Rs. 10,000/-plus. He requested the SDM Sir Sh. Amit Maan to convey our
concern to Govt. of Haryana. It is difficult to get apprentices below the prescribed Minimum Wage.

Sh. Amit Maan SDM in his address thanked Mr. JP Malhotra and his Team and appreciated the initiative of DLF Industries Association making Strive Project to be available to the young participants and visitors of Indus-Tech and avail of the opportunity of suitable employment cum Training by DLFIA Members to get actually knowledge and feel of Industry. Sh. Amit Maan SDM advised that we should offer opportunities to female candidates as much as possible and also assured that he will take up our request with higher authorities for enhancement of STIPEND money being paid to fresh apprentices under NAPS. Four very useful presentations were made by Ms. Charu Smita Malhotra TAP-DC on Communication Skills, Ms. Saloni Kaul on Leadership, Dr. Vijay Kumar on ZED Certification and Sh. AN Sharma a leading law expert on Labour Laws. A small Q & A was held before the close of the Seminar. As many 43 participants attend the Seminar. Sh. Bhupinder Singh Gen. Secretary advised the participants to spread the news and come forward.

On the concluding day, Sh. Vipul Goel Vice President BJP Haryana visited our stall and gained knowledge of STRIVE Project and NAPS. Sh. Vipul Goel Appreciated the context and efforts of DLF Industries Association to promote Govt of Haryana schemes and contribution to Atamnirbhar Bharat.
