On the occasion of World Heart Day, DLF Industries Association organised a very successful Free Health Check-up Camp and Health Talk at TAP-DC Faridabad by experienced medical experts from Apollo Hospital New Delhi in association with Rotary Club of Faridabad Mid-Town. 104 persons from amongst members were examined for BP, Sugar, Height, Weight, BMI, ECG, Eye-Check -up, Physician Consultation and Diet Counselling.

On the occasion of World Heart Day, useful presentation by Dr. Gautam Naik Consultant Cardiology and Dr. Ajay Gupta Senior Consultant Medical Oncology were made and purposeful Q & A was held to clear any misgivings on Heart issues.
Dr. Gautam Naik Consultant Cardiology t Apollo Hospital said that India is a young country. ntimely deaths necessitate a reassessment of CAD( coronary artery disease) in the young population. Premature coronary artery disease occurs at a young age, below 55 years in men and 65 years in women. Many studies have found that Indians are prone to CAD at a Younger age. Sudden cardiac arrest brings the heart to a stop without warning. Irregular heartbeats due to problems in the electrical system of the heart prevent it from performing the vital function of pumping blood to the body. It does not give enough time to revive a person unless it is done within the first 6 minutes.
Mr. Bhupinder Singh Gen. Secretary appreciated the Team of Doctors from Apollo Hospital who made excellent awareness on Heart issues leaving no doubt. Rtn. Mr. JP Malhotra President DLF Industries Association in his concluding remarks said that to mitigate the risk of heart disease, adopting a healthy lifestyle is paramount. Individuals with a family history of heart diseases must exercise extra caution. Regular cardiac consultations and checkup are imperative to diagnose any underlying heart condition promptly, allowing for timely intervention.
Mr. JP Malhotra added that in recent times, a series of sudden death have sent ripples of concern throughout the country, prompting a closer, look at youngsters.
Giving figures, Mr. JP Malhotra stated that in 9 months, 1.5 Lakh people died due to Covid as compared to 22 Lakh deaths due to Heart Attack. 60% deaths of world are in India. 50% Heart Attack were attributed to people less than 50 years age and 25% people died who were less than 40 years. Mr. JP Malhotra thanked Doctors from Apollo Hospital and Sh. Yogesh Srivastav who coordinated the organised of the World Health Day event.
Most of the people do not reach hospital 90-100 minutes is the Golden Hour to save the patient. Let us make it a mission to make people aware.
